Rules? What rules.

Your life. Your impact. Your legacy. YOUR WAY.

We the Unruly is an uprising of women with Unruly Fucking Fantastic Dreams & Ambition (UFFDA) remembering who TF they are and refusing to live one inch smaller.

UNRULIES are diverse-thinkers, mission-driven leaders, & often neurodivergent humans

We the Unruly is for unconventional women with a FIRE in their belly, the audacity to want what they want, & the devotion to making it REAL.

The Unruly Collective is where accomplished peer-led business strategy and emotionally intelligent support live alongside current obsessions like Corgi butts, sticker collections, smut reccos, and philosophical questions that wake us at 2am.

Founders, speakers, community builders, authors, coaches, artists, and other super cool humans changing the narrative of what becomes possible when you refuse to live even one inch smaller.

Where you can be the human behind the leader and not always have to be the strong one with all the answers.

Where you can say the things you can’t say anywhere else while getting help remembering who TF you are from brilliant humans who get you.

You vibe? You belong.

IDENTITY. IMPACT. LEGACY.

Unruly is a way of being

It's the woman who's done watering herself down for rooms that were never going to contain her multitudes anyway.

The one who charges the rate, takes the seat, hits 'submit', and says the thing everyone is thinking.

Not because she's brave, but because she's done pretending she's less powerful than she is.

It's choosing yourself on purpose and not because some problematic guru told you you should — but because somewhere along the way, you remembered you could.

Unruly women aren't trying to be more.

They're just done being less.

Unruly is a way of being.

Choosing yourself on purpose is how you build your impact & legacy.

Doing it alongside others is how you make it happen faster without abandoning yourself along the way.

We the Unruly is more than a movement.

It’s home to speaker and founder Jen Vertanen who is actively changing narratives around “success”, “aging”, “professionalism”, being the “strong one”, and how “selfish” is the most selfless thing you can do.

Jen walks her talk and brings real talk, irreverent humor, cycle-breaking eldest daughter energy, and a willingness to go where others won’t because she knows that’s how we reshape the world.

 Jen’s fave questions:

  • What becomes possible when you stop living inside someone else’s rules, blueprints, and frameworks — and find your own?
  • What are you modeling to younger generations and is this what you want for them?
  • What do you get to have for the rest of your life because you devoted yourself to making your UFFDA real — even when it was uncomfortable or took longer than you’d hoped, because life?

These aren’t easy questions but that’s the whole damn point.

Jen doesn’t ask questions designed to make women feel better without doing some heavy-lifting inner work first.

Platitude-y bullshit has had its turn and it ain’t working.

She asks the ones that make a woman go quiet at a dinner table, drive home in silence, and book the call the next morning.

Because if they were easy, everyone would be loving the hell out of their life and we both know that’s not true.

Unrulies inside The Collective are...

Leaders. Community builders. Speakers. Authors. Coaches. Artists. Founders. Therapists. Super cool humans.

Become an Unruly and step into a room full of women who get it. Real talk, deep work, irreverent joy, peer support that actually moves the needle on the life, impact, & legacy you’re building — and the safety to finally be the whole-ass human behind the leader.

TWO WOMEN ARE WATCHING YOU.

One is your future self — the one you make possible every time you choose what you actually want over what feels safe in the moment.

The other is a woman who already knows you.

Maybe your daughter. Maybe your niece. Maybe someone on your team. Maybe someone who admires you from a distance and you don’t even know it.

She’s watching to see what’s possible for women like her. What you do next teaches her.

The way you stop watering yourself down is the lesson.

Live your legacy now.
Delight yourself now.
Show her what’s possible now.
Devote to your UFFDA now.
Refuse to live one inch smaller now.

Be Unruly and find your people — the ones you feel safe enough to unmask and drop the armor around.

Support each other fiercely, because you are the woman who makes it possible.

If this were the easy path, the personal development industry wouldn’t be $60B and growing every year.

Let’s show the world how it can actually be done.

Identity. Impact. Legacy.
